Family Camping in the UK
Some of the best times we have had as a family have been spent under canvas. Its so rewarding. Kids love it – roaming free in the great outdoors, nature’s great playground. And putting up a tent is a great way for children and dads to bond.
And with prices as little as £8 per night its a cheap family holiday.
Britain has an abundance of family friendly campsites. They can be split into two main areas – chains and independents. The big chains have all the latest amenities plus kids clubs, swimming pools etc. The independents are more basic but often a lot cheaper.

Haven Holidays - They have 35 family holiday parks throughout the UK where you can camp. Most parks have Kids Clubs, swimming pools and entertainment.
Park Resorts – They specilalise in campsites by the coast.
Sandy Balls New Forest – Nestled in 120 acres of woods and parkland its got nature walks galore and a name that always makes the kids snigger!
